About the Coral Hogfish (M)

The coral hogfish is a striking wrasse with a dark purple front half, a yellow-white rear and a black diagonal band like a belt. This listing is a medium-size fish. It grows to about 10 inches, needs a tank of around 100 gallons with caves and open swimming room, and eats meaty foods several times a day. It leaves most corals alone but hunts shrimp, crabs, snails and worms, and it may push around small, peaceful fish.
