In plain words: The banana wrasse is a big, fast fish. Young fish and girls are bright yellow, just like a banana. Grown-up boys turn blue and green, with pink lines on the face. It can grow as long as a ruler, about 12 inches.

About the Banana / Lime Wrasse (SM)

Banana wrasses are fast, bold swimmers: yellow as juveniles and females, while large males turn blue-green behind a pink-striped face. This small-medium fish still has most of its growing ahead of it, since adults reach about 12 inches and need a tank of 125 gallons or more. It ignores corals but hunts shrimp, crabs and snails. Keep one per tank, add it last and use a tight lid.
