About the Banana / Lime Wrasse (XL)

Our extra large banana wrasse is the biggest size we list of this bold, fast wrasse, which can reach about 12 inches. It needs a long tank of 125 gallons or more (150 is better), robust tankmates such as tangs and larger angelfish, and several meaty meals a day. It is aggressive toward newcomers and other Thalassoma wrasses and eats invertebrates, though not corals. A tight-fitting lid is a must.
