In plain words: Fairy wrasses are small fish with very bright colors. There are more than 60 kinds. They live on coral reefs in the warm Indian and Pacific Oceans. They swim in groups just above the rocks. They snap up tiny animals that float by.
Fairy wrasses are small, peaceful wrasses that cruise open water, flash bright colors and leave corals and clams alone. 'Tongan' tells you where this fish was collected rather than which species it is, since several fairy wrasses come from Tonga. Most grow to 3 to 6 inches and do well in 55 gallons or more. Feed small meaty foods two or three times a day, keep one male of each kind, and cover the tank tightly, because fairy wrasses jump.
