In plain words: The banana wrasse is a big, fast fish. Young fish and girls are bright yellow, just like a banana. Grown-up boys turn blue and green, with pink lines on the face. It can grow as long as a ruler, about 12 inches.

About the Banana / Lime Wrasse (M/L)

This medium to large banana wrasse brings bold yellow, green and pink color and constant motion to a big tank. Adults reach about 12 inches, so plan for a long tank of at least 125 gallons. It takes meaty foods eagerly and should be fed at least twice a day. It leaves corals alone but preys on shrimp, crabs, snails and urchins, bullies timid newcomers and jumps, so add it last to a covered tank.
