In plain words: The yellow tang is a bright yellow fish. Its body is flat and round, like a pancake, and it has a pointy snout. It lives on coral reefs in the Pacific Ocean, mostly around Hawaii.
Few fish brighten a reef like a yellow tang. Ours are tank-raised and arrive grazing on nori and pellets.
Tangs are active swimmers that need open water and plenty of algae in their diet. Offer dried seaweed daily and give them a tank of at least 125 gallons with a long footprint.
