In plain words: The Achilles tang is a black fish with a big orange spot near its tail. The spot is shaped like a drop of fire. Its tail is orange too, with a white edge. It lives on reefs near islands in the Pacific Ocean, like Hawaii.

About the Baby Achilles Tang (SM)

Achilles tangs are prized for their deep black bodies, orange tails and the bright orange teardrop that grows in near the tail with age; young fish like this small-to-medium one may show only an orange streak there. They come from wave-swept reef crests and need a mature tank of 180 gallons or more with strong flow and algae every day. They are very prone to ich, so quarantine is essential, and they fight with other Acanthurus tangs.
