Chaetodon falcula
$115.00
A crisp white butterflyfish with two black wedge-shaped saddles on its back and bright yellow fins.
In stock and eating
Also called the falcula or blackwedged butterflyfish, this medium-sized fish has fine gray lines, two black saddles and a black band around the tail. It eats anemones, hard corals and mushroom corals, so it belongs in a fish-only tank of 125 gallons or more. It grows to about 8 inches, does best with several small meals of meaty foods a day, and can be territorial toward other butterflyfish.
