A red leaf scorpionfish that sways like a dead leaf and ambushes small prey.
In stock and eating
The red form of the leaf scorpionfish has a flat, leaf-shaped body and a tall, sail-like fin, and it rocks from side to side to look like a drifting leaf. This is a medium-size fish; adults reach about 4 inches and do well in 30 gallons or more with low flow. Its fin spines are venomous. It may take only live shrimp at first, and it will eat small fish and crustaceans.
