A young lyretail grouper in small-to-medium size: a red, blue-spotted predator with a crescent tail.
Only 1 left in our tanks
This small-to-medium lyretail grouper will grow into a striking red fish speckled with blue and pink spots, with a moon-shaped tail edged in bright yellow. It is a true predator that swallows any fish, shrimp or crab that fits in its mouth, so pair it only with large, robust tankmates. Adults can pass 30 inches, so plan for a tank of 300 gallons or more and heavy-duty filtration.
