About the Lined Butterfly (M)
Lined butterflyfish are the giants of their genus, reaching about 12 inches, so this medium-sized fish needs a very large fish-only tank of 125 gallons or more. It feeds on coral polyps, anemones and small invertebrates and is not reef safe. Offer a mix of meaty and algae-based foods several times a day, and buy it only if you can give it room to grow.
