A blue-eyed bristletooth tang that grazes film algae and detritus off rock, sand and glass.
In stock and eating
The blue-eyed tang, also called the two spot bristletooth, is a brown tang with bright blue eye rings and a black spot at the back of the dorsal and anal fins. It scoops up film algae and detritus all day, which makes it a useful, reef-safe grazer. This small-to-medium fish grows to about 8 inches and needs 70 gallons or more. Keep only one bristletooth per tank and offer seaweed several times a week.
