In plain words: Zoanthids, or 'zoas', are tiny animals that look like flowers. Each one is a polyp. It is a short tube with a mouth in the middle and a ring of small arms around it. Lots of polyps grow side by side.
About the Tonga Zoanthid Colonies (50+ polyps)
This is a full colony of Zoanthus polyps from Tonga, with at least 50 polyps on the rock. Zoas are hardy, colorful and easy to grow under low to moderate light and moderate flow, and they spread steadily by budding. Wear gloves and eye protection when handling them, because some zoanthids carry palytoxin, and never scrub or boil zoanthid rock.
