Acanthastrea echinata
$140.00
A colorful acan with puffy, ringed polyps that eagerly takes food at night.
In stock and eating
Acan echinata forms a mat of round, fleshy polyps over a spiny skeleton, often in bright ringed patterns. It does best in low to moderate light and gentle, indirect flow, and needs regular target feeding with small meaty foods to keep its tissue full. It is aggressive toward other corals, including other acans, so give it its own rock and several inches of space.
