Dipsastraea sp.
$110.00
A hardy stony coral covered in colorful cups, and a good first LPS for a reef tank.
In stock and eating
Favia corals form rounded domes of separate cups, often with rims and centers in contrasting colors. They are forgiving, grow slowly and do best low in the tank under modest light, since strong light can bleach them. Feeding is optional but improves color. At night they extend sweeper tentacles well beyond the colony, so give them space from other corals.
