In stock and eating
This is a small, young yellowhead butterflyfish, a rarely seen species with a pearly body, golden head and soft blue-gray chevrons. It eats most stony corals, some soft corals and small invertebrates, so it needs a fish-only tank. Adults reach about 8 inches; plan for 125 gallons or more with plenty of live rock and brisk flow. It is territorial toward other butterflyfish, so keep one unless you add a pair together.
