In plain words: The firefish is a small, slim fish that looks like it was dipped in paint. Its head is yellow. Its middle is white. Its back end is bright orange-red, like the tip of a lit match. On its back it has one very tall fin.
Firefish hover just above the rockwork, flicking their long dorsal fin, and dart into a bolt-hole when startled. They are peaceful and perfect for nano and mixed reefs.
They are skilled jumpers, so a tight-fitting lid or mesh screen is a must.
