About the Tongan Fighting Conchs

Tongan fighting conchs are small true conchs that leap across the sand on a hooked foot and peek out on long eye stalks. Despite the name they are peaceful and reef safe. They graze algae and detritus off the sand, mostly at night, so add them to a mature tank with open sand, offer nori if the sand stays spotless, and keep a lid on, since conchs can climb out.
