In stock and eating
Sea hares are big, soft-bodied sea slugs named for the two ear-like feelers on the head, and they graze hair algae and macroalgae almost nonstop. This is a small, young sea hare; adult size depends on the species and can be large. Add it only to a mature tank with plenty of algae, cover pump intakes and overflows, and keep fresh carbon on hand, since a startled sea hare can release purple ink.
