In stock and eating
The picture wrasse, also called the nebulous or cloud wrasse, is a small, cryptic wrasse that shifts its mottled green, brown and red pattern to match the rockwork. This is a medium-size fish; adults reach about 5 inches. It leaves corals and clams alone and hunts bristleworms and pyramidellid snails, but may eat small shrimp and crabs. Give it a soft sand bed 2 to 3 inches deep to bury in, meaty foods two or three times a day, and a tight lid.
