Hymenocera picta
$80.00
A painted-looking shrimp with petal-shaped claws that eats only sea stars; for experienced keepers.
In stock and eating
Harlequin shrimp have white bodies covered in large blue, brown or purple spots and broad, flat claws shaped like flower petals. This is a medium-sized shrimp. It eats nothing but sea stars, so line up a steady supply before you buy, and expect it to kill every starfish in the tank, including Asterina pests. It is best kept as a pair, in a tank that never sees copper.
