A peaceful Atlantic brittle star with long, snake-like arms that cleans up leftovers at night.
In stock and eating
Atlantic serpent stars are brittle stars with banded, scaly arms in shades of green, orange or maroon. This is a small specimen. By day they hide under rock, and at night they roam the tank eating leftover meaty food. Acclimate slowly, never lift them out of the water, and keep salinity stable, because sudden changes are what they handle worst.
